Lavender essential oil is one of the most complex naturally-occurring plant oils, rich in linalool, linalyl acetate, terpenes and other organic molecules. Besides its wonderful fragrance, centuries of documented experience along with modern science have established the oil's many naturally-occurring properties.
Among all the essential oils, Lavender Essential Oil is somewhat unique in that it is one of the very few essential oils that can be applied undiluted directly onto the skin with no toxic effects.
- Antiseptic
- Topical Anesthetic
- Sedative
- Insect Repellant
- Natural Oil Solvent
Each of these naturally-occurring properties, alone or in combination, has contributed to lavender's extraordinarily broad and enduring range of uses in everyday life. More uses listed below.
To ensure optimum quality, unlike many others who buy their oil from "bulk sources" with no clear production history, all our essential oil is Certified Organic by Washington State Department of Agriculture and distilled right here on the farm exclusively from the lavender flowers we grow ourselves here in our own fields.

"I suffer from insomnia periodically and have trouble getting to sleep, and sometimes awake in the night and can't get back to sleep. I bought two bottles of the lavender oil and was a little skeptical that it would work, but decided to give it a try. I have used it several times with wonderful results! [I am] now able to get to sleep in a short time after rubbing a little of the oil under my nose. I am very happy I visited your farm and have become acquainted with the oil. I have used Tylenol P.M. and Ambien, and this oil works better and is natural, not harming my body." - Joyce

"We Care for Quality”™ says it all
– quality without compromise in everything we do is
our superordinate mantra.
We achieve this by being one of the very few lavender operations to do everything “in-house” — from farming to essential oil distillation to product handcrafting and distribution.
We use only our own organic lavender raw materials from our own fields on San Juan Island, Washington.
We handcraft all our own products right on the farm, and then subject them all to four separate levels of quality control.
We make a point of avoiding the use of any harsh chemical preservatives and not doing any animal testing.
Providing reusable and recyclable packaging wherever possible is just one of the many expressions of sustainability as a core value throughout our operations.
